We are looking for a ‘Centre Operations and Development Manager’ to seek to play a part in making the East side of High Wycombe a positive place for young people to grow up and live in.

• The role involves communicating and liaising with users ensuring high-quality services and activities for young people that foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that supports personal development and wellbeing.

• We are looking for someone who thinks outside of the box, is good at problem solving, creative, welcoming and relatable to a variety of people.   Hours are flexible depending on requirements but would start at 20 hours per week. Hourly pay rate £14.50.  The successful candidate will be supported by the board of trustees.

• Requirements · Good personality and ability to interact on different levels with a variety of user groups and external agencies. ·

• Computer skills sufficient to develop the website, social media contacts and produce reports and spreadsheets.

• Ability to give presentations to prospective client organisations.

• Some knowledge of challenges of working with children and young people (though regular contact with young people is unlikely).

• To hold a current enhanced DBS or willing to allow one to be taken (arranged and paid for by the centre).

• Able to provide 2 work-related references on request.

• Driving Licence holders preferred.

• Some knowledge of charity accounting and funding would be beneficial but not essential.
